Steps 2 Grow LLC provides in-home occupational therapy for children in the Portland, OR metro area. Steps 2 Grow LLC consists of AOTA certified and licensed OTs. We are looking for an engaging, independent, and collaborative OT/COTA to provide in-home occupational therapy services to children with mild to moderate developmental challenges. Prior experience with pediatrics is necessary! This position is HOME based and requires travel (within reason) to clients' homes. Caseload can start small with 1-2 families, with the opportunity to grow if desired. This is a great opportunity for an OT who just wants to work a little bit, or pick up a few extra hours in addition to their current employment. Biggest perk is having complete control over your time, and deciding how many clients you'd like to see and when you are available.

Our mission as in-home OT's is to partner with families, provide effective direct treatment, and offer practical home program activities and recommendations that can be integrated into the family's daily routines easily. We strive to enhance development, minimize delays, and help kids overcome the obstacles that are interfering with their participation in activities of daily life. Most commonly, we see those obstacles include motor skills, motor planning, cognition, sensory processing, self-regulation, and the environment. We are unique in that we provide these services in the comfort of our clients' homes, a child's natural and familiar environment. Requirements:
- Occupational Therapy License or Occupational Therapy Assistant License
- Previous pediatrics experience (at least 2 years)
- Willing to purchase a professional liability insurance policy
- Willing to drive up to 20-30 minutes to a client's home (though I try to pair families and therapists by geography when possible)
- Access to smartphone/tablet for documenting in EMR app
- Access to therapy materials is a plus, but not necessary
